Tree Carving

I am a self taught wood carver and sculptor specialising in turning dead, dying, damaged or fallen trees into sculptural features. I am based on the Isle of Wight, but will travel to any location to undertake commissions. When undertaking a sculpture I never impose my design on the wood. The natural grain, colour and any flaws or imperfections in the timber are all used to enhance the final creation.
I work with closely tree surgeons and arboricultural specialists recycling felled timber into sculptures and carving condemned trees into unique garden features. For more information on this visit www.modernarb.co.uk
